Originally from Essex, John studied Chemical Engineering at Teesside Polytechnic in
Middlesbrough. From there he worked In Yorkshire, Essex and for the last 26 years
in Gloucestershire.

John has lived in Worcestershire for over 18 years with his wife, who grew up in
Crowle and went to Droitwich High School.

John has been involved in local politics since he was in college and has stood for the
Liberal Democrats in the Littletons Division in the County Council elections of 2021.

John says: “In my professional life, I am used to working with diverse groups to get
problems solved. If fortunate enough to be elected I can use these skills I can use to
help the people of the Littletons. I know a Liberal Democrat-run council will have the
right blend of knowledge, skills and empathy to work for everyone in
Worcestershire.”
